The garden is now closed for the winter and will re-open on Saturday 1st March 2025.
There will be an event on Sunday 2nd February - Snowdrop Day.
An exotic garden in an exposed prairie landscape by the North Norfolk coast
A beautiful, 32 acre modern garden containing many garden rooms with herbaceous borders, gravel gardens, sub-tropical gardens, a box parterre, sunken rose garden, Mediterranean garden, Desert Wash and a large woodland garden — there really is so much to explore.
One of our great joys is to see the pleasure that the garden can bring to many of the visitors and that everybody seems to find some part of it that is special to them.

Meet Alan Gray
Alan Gray is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Norfolk’s ‘Garden Party’ on Saturday lunchtimes, 12 – 2pm helping listeners with their horticultural queries large or small. The programme where no question is too silly to ask, the aim is to promote gardening and the fun, fitness, excitement and sheer delight that it brings to old and young alike.
Together with friend and gardening colleague, Thordis Fridriksson Alan has a podcast aptly named, ‘Talking Dirty’. They invite interesting people from the world of gardening to share tips, tricks and knowledge. Packed with information on all aspects of gardening and horticulture the aim is to share the love that we have for this rather special occupation with humour and fun.
Alan also has a weekly column in the Eastern Daily Press where he writes about gardening, giving information on many aspects from seeds to suppliers, from weeds to watering cans. No aspect from the world of horticulture is too small or too large, if he thinks that the readers will be interested, he voices his opinion.
